Located at 32nd Avenue & 73rd Street in the Elmhurst section of Queens, New York, this room for rent in a two bedroom apartment share is found on the ground floor of a 3 story townhouse.
Enter the apartment in an entranceway that leads to both bedrooms and the bathroom and kitchen that are shared with a roommate. The first room for rent, Bedroom 1, features a twin sized bed, desk, and a dresser on top of which sits a flat screen television. On one wall of this room there is a closet that features full-length mirrors on its doors. Across the way from this room is Bedroom 2, the second room for rent. This room also has a twin sized bed and dresser with flat screen television. There is an armoire-like closet in one corner, and on one wall there is a window. The bathroom in this apartment has a tub with shower, pedestal sink and overhead mirror. Back in the main part of the apartment is the kitchen. In this space, which features white cabinets with neutral countertops and backsplash, there is a 4-burner gas range with regular oven, a microwave, and dishwasher. A window at the far end of this room makes the space bright and airy.
Outside the two bedroom apartment find yourself in Elmhurst, a neighborhood of Queens, just one of the 5 bustling boroughs of New York City. Just one block south on Northern Boulevard there are plenty of places to go shopping or eat out. For example there is a CVS Pharmacy, IHOP, plus some delis and other chain food restaurants. Three blocks from the apartment there is also a gym. At 34th Avenue and 77th Street there is a mall with supermarket. The best part about this location is everything is within walking distance. If you are looking to enjoy the out doors about 7 blocks from the apartment is St. Michael’s Playground. At this park there is a baseball field, handball, tennis, and basketball courts, plus a wading pool and a swing set.
To access the rest of Queens as well as downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn there are two subway stations in the area. The first is the 65 Street / Broadway Station with service on the E, M, and R trains. To access the 7 train, which goes to Grand Central Terminal and 42nd Street/Times Square, head to the 69 Street / Roosevelt Avenue Station.

I spent 3 and 1/2 months in this apartment and it was great! The room is spacious and comfortable and even though the train station is a bit far away, there is a bus bus stop right at the corner of the street that can get you there quite quickly. |

The room was fantastic. The landlord was extremely inviting and not at all strict. It's a great place that I would recommend to anyone. |
