Neighborhood:
This apartment is in the Les Halles area, close to the pedestrian Montorgueil Street with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes, and other services. It is also very close to the Beaubourg modern art museum, the rue des Lombards jazz clubs and of course the large underground mall of Les Halles. It is also a short walking distance to main points of interest such as the Seine River, the Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de la Cité, the unique Ile Saint Louis, and to the majestic Louvre Museum. From the adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, one of the most historic parks in Paris, there is a fine perspective -- the alignment of the Obelisk on Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysée and the Arc de Triomphe in one direction and the Arc de Triomphe du Carroussel and the glass pyramid of the Louvre in the other. It is a centrally located area, very convenient to travel all around Paris.
