This 32m² (approx. 340 sq. ft.) one-bedroom duplex apartment is located on the first floor of an 18th century walk-up building. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a corridor leading to a staircase that goes to the first floor. A pedestrian bridge then leads to the apartment.
The apartment entrance opens into the living room, the open kitchen and the separate bathroom; a staircase leads to the bedroom. The 14m² (approx. 150 sq. ft.) living room has a window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, an armchair, a dining table with chairs and a decorative fireplace. The open kitchen is separated from the living room by a folding screen. It is equipped with two vitro ceramic plates, a combo microwave/oven, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. The separate bathroom has a window overlooking a courtyard. It has a shower, a washbasin, a toilette and a towel dryer. The staircase situated in the living room leads to the 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) bedroom, which has a window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard and a skylight. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a console with a TV, a DVD player, a stereo and some built-in closets. Heat and hot water are electric.
This furnished apartment is located in the heart of Paris near the storied and trendy Marais area. The neighborhood is commercial and residential with diverse restaurants, bars and shops. This accommodation is also walking distance to some primary Parisian cultural sites such as the Louvre, the George Pompidou and Notre Dame. It is also very close to the rue de Bretagne, which has a typical French market on Sundays. In this lively neighborhood are the Montorgueil, the Halles, and Temple markets, bars, clubs, restaurants as well as boutiques and specialty stores.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Temple (line 3) and Republique (lines 3,5,8,9,11).
