If you’re a bookstore aficionado and you’re in the East Village, it’s definitely worth stopping by the St. Mark’s Bookstore between 10th St. and Second Ave. It’s more intimate and has a completely different air than the famous Strand (another place definitely worth a visit — the employees know everything!).
How ’bout East 7th Street? McSorley’s Ale House. Burp Castle. How could you leave those out?
You’re absolutely right, those are definitely neighborhood icons. We’ll be sure to include them next time, thanks!
