In the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in central London is South Kensington, an affluent and richly-packed neighborhood for you to base your London visit from! With this walk-up, period building located in the heart of some of London’s most prime real estate (on Harrington Gardens between Gloucester Road and Collingham Road), you should find plenty of things to keep you busy; you’ll find this your oasis in London as you plan your journey ahead.
With 21 square meters of space (226 square feet), this studio London apartment is furnished and is located on the ground floor of this building. This studio apartment has both a full bathroom and a separate kitchen; both are located to either side of you when you enter the apartment. The kitchen, to your left, has basic conveniences for you should you wish to prep your own meals during your stay; there’s a refrigerator, oven, and a microwave as well. There’s also a washer/dryer in the kitchen should you have laundry needs. Ahead is the open living/sleeping area, where you’ll have a double-sized bed, a sofa, and a dining table with seating for two.
The area is great should you wish to get out and walk to do some exploring; there’s shops and restaurants in the area catering to a wide number of palates and international cuisines. You’ll also find that Earl’s Court is just to the west, which is home to two large convention centers (Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre and Olympia) – both are about 1.1 km/0.7 miles away to the west. Since that area is home to trade shows and conventioneers, there’s lots of places to eat and shop in the area as well. Just to the northeast from this studio London apartment are three popular London museums – the Science Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, and Natural History Museum. All three are located on the southern edge of the large Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park green space, should you wish to partake. There’s also lots of high-end shopping in Knightsbridge, to the east (about 2 km/1.2 miles) where you’ll find name brands that include the likes of Chanel and Giorgio Armani. There’s plenty of shops locally near your studio apartment to check out as well, not to mention plenty of pubs to get a good taste of England.
