When you visit London, you’ll want someplace central, close to places to visit, but also loaded with things to see and do locally. Welcome to Fitzrovia, a borough of central London near the borough of Marylebone; this is a very trendy area with contemporary shopping, dining, and entertainment venues. The apartment building itself is a modern design with a security system and a southern exposure, avoiding some of the glare from sunrises/sunsets. There is an elevator in the building, which can be used to access this particular apartment as it is located on the first floor (second floor in America).
Upon entry, you’ll find a 40 square meter (about 431 square foot) apartment waiting for you; this one bedroom London apartment is fully furnished and located at the back of the property, where it is quieter, and will give you a view of the local landmark, the BT Tower. Speaking of quieter, when you sleep in your bedroom you’ll find a double bed there, as well as a chest of drawers, wardrobe, and bedside table to help store your items. There are full-length white curtains and separate blackout blinds to help catch any sun that might seep in, should you wish to shut it out. The living room has a sofa that folds out into a double-sized sofa bed; there’s also a flat screen television with a DVD player and freeview cable channels, as well as a selection of DVDs for your entertainment. When you’re ready to make your own meals, you’ll find the kitchen well-equipped to assist you, as it contains a microwave, electric oven, range, coffee machine, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, kitchen utensils, and a washer/dryer for your laundry needs. There is also a bathroom, complete with a full sized bath with a power shower unit and even a heated towel rack. There’s also Wifi internet available and included with your stay.
You’ll find much to do in the area, with a lot of it reachable by walking; for example, the British Library (1.3 km/0.8 miles) is just a short distance to the east, while the British Museum (1.3 km/0.8 miles) is the same distance to the southeast. If you’re more into shopping, you’ll have little problem finding places to check out; Oxford Street is 1 km/0.6 miles to the south and has dozens of shops and restaurants waiting for you to experience, with a wide variety of retailers. Soho is just a bit to the south from this one bedroom London apartment, where you’ll find another fashionable district with upscale restaurants and shopping, just 1 km/0.6 miles to the south. If there’s a day where you don’t feel like walking much, you’ll find bus stops along nearby Euston Road (0.5 km/0.3 miles to the north). There’s also the Goodge Street underground (subway) station the same distance (0.5 km/0.3 miles) to the south. This location has plenty to see and do, and is convenient for traveling to other locations in London for further explorations!
