Your upcoming stay in London could be from this two bedroom apartment, located in central London in the cosmopolitan area of Bayswater, just on the northern edge of the large Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. The building itself is a walk-up period locale, protected by a security system, and this apartment is one the 1st floor (considered 2nd by Americans). The area is loaded with plenty of things to see, do, and experience, and transportation options are close at hand from which to visit other parts of London (and beyond).
The apartment is 83 square meters (893 square feet) of space with plenty of natural light and wooden flooring, offering a relaxing and bright area from which you can relax and plan your explorations of London. The living area is the first space you will enter, with plenty of comfortable seating within (including a dining table and dining table seating). The room also comes complete with an armchair, LCD flatscreen television, and a coffee table as well. The bedrooms are spacious; the master bedroom has a king-sized bed in it, whereas the second bedroom has a double-sized bed within. A rooftop terrace is accessible directly from the first (master) bedroom, giving you some fresh-air relaxation should you need it. The kitchen is well-equipped to meet your cooking needs should you wish to take advantage of it; it includes an electric oven with gas burners, fridge/freezer, and a washing machine for your laundry needs.
The entry to the vast green spaces of Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park is a short 0.5 km/0.3 miles to the south; so too is the Lancaster Gate underground station, located at the entrance to this park. The Paddington rail station is the same distance to the east, should you wish to take advantage of other rail transport options (Heathrow Airport is only a few stops away down this latter’s line). The museums of Kensington are on the south side of the park space of the same name, only 2.4 km/1.5 miles to the south; you’ll find the Natural History, Science, and Victoria & Albert museums here. You’ll find restaurants, bars, and pubs within a few street’s radius of this two bedroom apartment as well, giving you dining options nearby. Central London is easily accessed and experienced from the comfort and convenience of this lovely location.
Note: There are no blinds in the living room to block the natural light.

This was a wonderful location and we really appreciated that. Great amenities close by. That was awesome! However, the apartment was somewhat dirty when we arrived (greasy stove, dirty freezer, dusty bathroom and bedrooms (tables). The beds are very worn; I would recommend replacing the mattresses. The livingroom furniture is also very worn. I understand wear and tear, but I guess for the price, I was expecting a little bit more/better condition. Nice ambiance, however. Our host was very courteous and accomodating, and we really appreciated that. No concerns whatsoever in that area. James seems like a very nice person. |

I have a better cleaner now. Am replacing mattresses. The sofa and chair have been cleaned. They are very pale in colour and show the dirt but they are not really worn. |

Very lighted and spacious flat. Very good Wi-Fi. The furniture is very bad and junky. Great location! |

Spartak recently inquired about whether he could stay again as he liked it so much. The furniture needs a professional clean which I shall carry out as soon as possible! |

Accommodation in a very good location. Very comfortable and spacious for 4. Pleasant apartment to live in and very well equipped. Small downside: the terrace wasn't furnished (table + chairs) and curtains were missing in 1 of the 2 bedrooms. Otherwise we are delighted with our stay. |

In general, we really liked the flat. Location is excellent if you like to be in central London. The flat could have be more comfortable if it was cleaner with an updated furniture and bedding. Additional towels would have been nice. The hardwood floor nails are popping so recommend wearing an indoor shoe, the restaurant next door at times; late at night was really noisy. The owner was prompt and easy to deal with. Wireless access worked flawlessly. Overall a great value and location and if we go back will rent this place again. |

Further to this review, we contacted the owner of this apartment, who has since replaced the dining room chairs, bought new towels and linens, and repaired the floor. They also assured us that a cleaning service will come before each client's visit. |

Large and comfortable accommodation, well located, we had a very nice stay. Other than that I would like to mention that a more fluid and direct communication with the owner would have been a plus. |

The location was great. Easy access to padington train station. nice neighborhood. the apartment was very nice size. however there were no blinds on livingroom windows and very close to next building. the apartment didn't have a lot of space for storage for 4 people traveling. Owner was very responsive to any questions. |

The apartment location was brilliant, which is why I chose it. I used to live just around the corner so knew the area. For the cost it was good value with the major exception that the apartment has no curtains at all. This makes the living areas quite uncomfortable as they all look into apartments across the Mews. The bedrooms are even worse - although there is thin cotton tentatively attached to the existing curtain rails, these stop no light and made sleeping nearly impossible. Both should be rectified. |

Further to this review, we contacted the owner of this vacation rental who confirmed that there are pale blinds in the bedrooms at the moment but heavier ones may be added in the future. The washing machine works and owner has left instructions on how to use it as it is a bit complicated. |
