This house suited our needs for our stay in London. The only thing missing was a clothes dryer and given the rain we encountered when there, it was a necessity. Unfortunately were not able to enjoy the outdoor area. |

Great apartment in a great location. Just a few minutes walk from the tube, a hypermart and Camden Locke Market. It's a great place to stay. |

I am almost hesitant to say how much we liked this rental lest it become so popular that there's no room for us to return! In a word, it was fabulous. First, the location is an easy and fast walk to downtown (and the underground) yet away from the crazy Camden Town bustle such that you wake to the sound of seagulls. You're also only steps from the canal along which you can walk in minutes to lovely Primrose Hill, a nice change from Camden Town and housing wonderful restaurants and shops, and steps down a back way to get to the Stables market. The flat itself is an eclectic mix of tasteful furnishings including wonderful art, and everything you could ever want or need is there. There's plenty of space - five bedrooms, and while most are small, they are adequate. The master bedroom is particularly pretty, with a gorgeous big window. The beds are comfortable, the linens are high quality. And the garden! It's an enormous space, and had the weather not been so nasty, we would've spent a lot of time out there. As it was, the cozy couches in the living room made relaxing easy. To make things even better and more memorable was meeting the family who occupies this space - gracious parents and adorable personable children. All in all, it was a real treat to be here. The only possible downside for a picky person could be the sound of the nearby train that occasionally goes by, but it didn't disturb us at all. It only added to the quirky yet classy feel of the place. We couldn't have been happier. |
