All other rooms besides the bedrooms (this includes: living room, kitchen, bathroom) will be shared with roommates. Each renter has access to a large dining table, sofa and cable television, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. I thought that the condition of this apartment was somewhat neglected... The curtains were hard to draw as they were fixed in the most uncertain way on the rod... The window overlooking the street was « open » for the air conditioning unit, which was surrounded by a piece of cardboard that served as the missing window...As the apartment overlooks the street, soundproofing is pretty much non-existent... When we arrived, we found some underwear on a chair, probably from the previous tenants...The owner and her sister welcomed us a bit coldly... He's not very interested in his guests but mostly in the envelope that we must hand him over as soon as we arrive, I think it was not very professional... Finally, our return flight was scheduled at midnight, but he didn't want us to leave our luggage in his apartment after 3pm... We had to drag them around in New York all day long, trying to store them in vain in the restaurants and stores of the area... The size of a suitcase stored in a living room is not the most annoying per se... |
