Are you a large group of people looking to live together in NYC, the land of small apartments? Never fear – Brooklyn is here! This four bedroom duplex apartment in Bedford-Stuyvesant, accommodating up to ten guests, may be perfect for you.
Please Note: This apartment can also be rented as a bed & breakfast, in which case tenants will receive a private bedroom. All other rooms and amenities will be shared with roommates.
Located on Rochester Avenue and Atlantic Avenue, the four bedroom duplex starts on the 2nd floor and extends to the 3rd floor (considered 1st and 2nd in Europe) of a classic 3-story walk-up prewar townhouse. There is a small private balcony included for the tenants use, decorated with artificial turf and patio chairs, overlooking the garden area.
Though basic, this accommodation offers plenty of space (approx. 1100sqft/102sqm) and amenities for a comfortable stay in the big city. Highlights of the interior include hardwood floors, mirrored walls and exposed brick.
The main entrance door on the 2nd floor opens to the kitchen, which is attached to the living room. From the living room tenants can access the balcony on the north end or bedroom 1 on the south end. The top floor includes three more bedrooms and a bathroom.
Please Note: There is a second private bathroom (bathroom 2) on the 2nd floor. It is located just outside of the apartment.
Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom, spanning 265sqft (approx. 24.6sqm). Decorated with an old-world decorative fireplace, wooden dressers and a wall of mirrors, it provides four twin beds.
Bedroom 2 (70sqft/6.5sqm and only 7’8” wide) and bedroom 3 (85sqft/7.9sqm) offer one twin bed each. Bedroom 2 includes a desk; bedroom 3 provides a wooden dresser that can also be used as a desk.
Bedroom 4 spans 230sqft (21.3sqm) and includes one twin bed and one double bed. It is equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave and closet.
Other amenities throughout the apartment include a dining table fit for six, seating space and a fully equipped kitchen with tiled floors, a window and a ceiling fan for easy ventilation. Efficient cabinetry and most essential cooking appliances are supplied.
