Located on East 119th Street & Second Avenue in East Harlem, New York, this two-bedroom apartment vacation rental rests on the ground floor of a four-story walk-up low-rise building. For privacy assurance, a buzzer/security system is in place. This New York City accommodation is handicap accessible.
Fully-furnished with modern décor and hardwood flooring, this two bedroom home spans a total of 750sqft/69.6sqm.
The elegant living room area includes two large windows for maximum ventilation. Here, a queen-sized sofa bed faces a flat-screen cable television, providing seating/sleeping space and indoor entertainment. Also included is a coffee table and dining table for meal and surface space.
An open kitchen provides a small breakfast bar and ample cabinet space. Most necessary cooking appliances are included. A tiled bathroom presents one shower, one tub, and fresh towels.
Bedroom 1 (master bedroom) spans a commodious 200sqft/18.5sqm. Included here is one queen-sized bed with fresh sheets and one large window facing the garden. Closet space for item storage is provided.
Bedroom 2 spans 150sqft/13.9sqm and includes two full-sized trundle bed with fresh sheets. One large window and ample storage space is available.
Air conditioning is available in the living room and both bedrooms.

My 5 people family (2 adults and 3 kids from 3 to 9) spent 4 months in this ground floor flat, located in East Harlem. It is very functional and well equipped. The ambient humidity (which is not specific to the hotel but to New York in general!) is well regulated by a dehumidifier system. Supermarkets are very close (walking distance), the citybike station (5 minutes!), which I used a lot, is very convenient. The surroundings are well maintained. |

Excellent apartment. Two very spacious rooms and a perfectly equipped kitchen. Very clean. The neighborhood is very pleasant and the street in which the apartment is located is very quiet, with many buildings of recent construction. There is a supermarket and a laundrette right around the corner. The nearest metro station is a 5-10 minute walk. |

This apartment is very well-equipped and decorated. The building manager was very helpful. The owner was nice and easy to reach. Very good communication with roommates. Owner returned our deposit very quickly. Only downside: wifi was not working properly on a regular basis and the apartment is a bit far from subway station. |

I don't know whether to attribute this to poor provider service in the area or a problem with the provider's router? I will try getting a replacement router. |

The apartment is big and comfortable. The photos online are absolutely accurate. The neighborhood can be a little overwhelming at first, but we always felt safe, even when returning home in the middle of the night. The landlord is very nice, always responds to emails and calls and makes sure his tenants are doing okay. The subway is very close and the green line is perfect to get to Midtown within 30 minutes. All in all a wonderful apartment to a decent price that I can highly recommend! |

Overall, I had a good experience. The apartment is spacious (especially for New York) and was well-equipped. The owner was fine and responsive for the most part. My only compliant is there was a leak from the upstairs unit into the apartment we were staying which damaged the paint in one of the rooms and the owner attempted to have it fixed but it never ended up happening. |

Thank you. I was very happy to host you and your family during your stay in NYC. It was indeed unfortunate that there was a water leak at the end of your stay from the apartment upstairs. This wound up causing damage to one wall in the bathroom and in the corner of the kitchen ceiling. As we discussed, in order to properly repair this damage, the painter would need to scrape the peeling paint, spackle the damaged area, sand smooth the plaster, then prime and paint the wall and ceiling. We decided that this was not a good time to perform this repair since you had recently given birth to a wonderful, newborn daughter. The repair was performed right after your departure. I am very sorry this accident occurred during your stay and hope this will not dissuade you from returning. |

Very spacious appartment, even for a wheelchair rider! Shops and restaurants are just around the corner. Our landlord Sal was very nice and helpful. We could ask him any time about everything concerning sights and insider tips in New York. On our arrival he even provided me with some beer and made my day after a long oversea flight. |
