On the southwestern point of Brooklyn, New York, you will find this agreeable and fully furnished two-bedroom apartment in the neighborhood of Bay Ridge. Located on the first floor of a 3-floor low-rise building, built as recently as 2006, this apartment stands out from those surrounding it due to its modern features. Among them, you have the convenience of a buzzer/intercom system and a combination washer/dryer.
No need to take the stairs here, you can just take the first entrance directly into the apartment. The bright and lively living room welcome you, thanks to the southern-facing windows looking toward the nearby street, the hardwood floors that follow you around the apartment and the colorful classic styled furniture. The bedrooms are accessible as you step further along the hallway, which gives each room its privacy. The first bedroom has a window facing west towards the next building while the second has view on this building’s backyard garden, which you will definitely enjoy having at reach. This garden area, shared with your upstairs neighbors, provides easy access to the New York sun and will help you relax in your own space. It also has two BBQ grills, one charcoal, one gas, for when you feel like cooking out!
Note that there are stairs in the apartment that lead to the lower level unit, which is separated by a locked door.
Being on 88th street in the Bay Ridge neighborhood means living a highly residential area of New York City. But don’t worry about finding where you can shop or eat: just around the corner 4th avenue is waiting for you with its various stores and international restaurants. Otherwise the area’s main commercial strips, 3rd and 5th avenue, are only a block away for access to many more amenities. If you are ready to walk, there are also several parks in the area, including the Dyker Beach Park (about 6 blocks) and the local Harbor Defense Museum. For a summer daytrip, go pay a visit to Coney Island (accessible via the R to the N train) with its beaches and piers, as well as the New York Aquarium, perfect for entertainment.
The closest subway station to this two bedroom apartment, at a distance of only 2 blocks, will take you directly up to Manhattan via the R line.

Nice cheap apartment in a very quiet Brooklyn neighborhood (well, as quiet as NY gets). The Metro is close by and plenty of shopping opportunities are around the corner. |

Thank you Janosch for such a nice review. You, your wife and your adorable baby were a very positive experience for our neighbors as well as ourselves. |
