This four bedroom triplex apartment is located in the neighborhood of Boerum Hill in Brooklyn on Warren Street & Hoyt Street. The three-story, historic walk-up townhouse, which dates all the way back to 1899, is on a charming street lined with trees and brownstone buildings.
The fully furnished apartment features hardwood flooring, exposed brick walls, a working wood stove fireplace, built-in floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, two skylights and many windows, with northern and southern exposures, that let in the natural light. The air-conditioned living area is an inviting space with warm colors and interesting artwork. It is furnished with two sofas, two armchairs, a coffee table, and a dining table for six. The open kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, cooking utensils, plenty of cupboards, and striking cobalt blue counters. It opens onto a gorgeous deck, with a table and chairs for alfresco dining, and a lovely garden that is shared with the ground floor tenant. The air-conditioned master bedroom on the third floor is furnished with a king-size bed, TV and DVD player, and has an en-suite bathroom. The three guest bedrooms are on the second floor—the first has a double bed, the second has two single-sixed beds, and the third has a single bed. There is a double air mattress available, which can sleep two extra people. All of the bedrooms have windows and walk-in closets with ample storage space. There are three bathrooms, two full and one half. You will conveniently find a washer and dryer in one of the bathrooms and a jacuzzi in the other. Also adored by Boerum Hill residents is The Chocolate Room (4 blocks) with its assorted menu of exceptional handmade chocolate confections. There are several parks in the vicinity, including Carroll Park (7 blocks), Fort Greene Park (1.2 miles), and Prospect Park (1.4 miles), a popular New York landmark. Walk six blocks over to Atlantic Avenue, which is lined with amazing fashion boutiques and independent bookstores, not to mention the galleries, ethnic food markets, lounges, pubs, and much more. Nearby Smith Street is filled with little cafes and restaurants. There are academic institutions in the area, including Brooklyn School of Law and Long Island University.
