When it comes time to toss a meal together, there is an oven.
The farthest farmer's market is located 2.3 miles (around 3.5 km) from the apartment. The path to get there runs a half-mile (around 800 meters) along the border of the Greenwood Cemetery and then passes under the shade at the edge of Prospect Park for another half mile. If you only want the park, it is a 1.3-mile (around 2-km) trip. You can enjoy the Upper Bay from Bush Terminal Piers Park (1.8 miles or around 3 km from the apartment) and stop by Industry City on the way back (1 mile or around 1.5 km) without a detour.
