Located in the Midtown West neighborhood of Manhattan, this furnished 1 bedroom apartment is located on the 20th floor (considered 19th by Europeans) of a mid-rise elevator building. With a 24-hour doorman to greet you as well as a shared courtyard for the tenants and in-building laundry facilities, this apartment, with its amenities and location, would be the perfect spot for access to all of New York City.
Enter the contemporary decorated 1 bedroom through the living room. Immediately you will notice that the apartment features hardwood floors throughout and many windows that brighten up the space. In this room you will find two couches, a flat screen television and a dining table that seats four. From here you can see into the kitchen over the counter that separates the two spaces. The kitchen features a four-burner stove, dishwasher, double-door refrigerator/freezer unit, as well as all the other appliances and cookware you will need to prepare meals at home.
Off the living room is the bedroom and bathroom. In the bedroom you will find a three-piece matching bedroom set that consists of a queen-sized bed, dresser unit with large mirror and bureau on which a television sits. A wide window in this room provides great views of NYC’s famous skyline as well as a view on the courtyard terrace that is shared between all the tenants. In the bathroom find a tub with shower unit as well as counter space surrounding the sink. There is also a full wall mirror, which is illuminated by a multiple exposed bulb fixture.
The Midtown West section of New York City provides easy access to the entire city. In the immediate neighborhood find endless restaurants up and down the streets and avenues. Just a block away on 51th Street is the George Gershwin Theatre, the largest Broadway theater in all of New York. It served as home for many long-running Broadway shows such as Singin’ in the Rain, Fiddler on the Roof, and most recently Wicked.
For more excitement of the city stroll 8 short blocks south on 9th Avenue to 42nd Street, more famously known as Time Square. From here you can access Port Authority Bus Terminal as well as the Shuttle that runs from Times Square to Grand Central Station – providing access to the east side. To access uptown and downtown, the 50th Street and 8th Avenue station is half an avenue block away with access to the C and E lines, and about two avenue blocks away on Broadway and 50th Street is a station that services the 1 line. Take the 1 line 1 stop uptown to Columbus Circle, which not only has great shopping, but is also the southwestern tip of Central Park.
