This vacation rental is located in Nice, the iconic beachfront city on the French Riviera in the South of France. The city is the 5th most populous in the country and is often called “Nice the Beautiful.” The studio is on the top floor of a 5-story elevator building that dates back to 1968 (considered 6-story by Americans). The entry is secured by a digital code / intercom system at the gate.
Completely renovated in 2013, the 25m² accommodation (approx. 269 sq ft) has a southwestern exposure overlooking the front street. It has a 24m² (258 sq ft) terrace with wooden floors, a retractable roof for shade, potted plants and outdoor furniture. It is a great spot to take in the fresh air and lovely views of the neighboring buildings as you enjoy alfresco dining. Glass doors that open into the interior living area allow in the natural light, making the space bright and sunny. As you walk into the studio you will find a closet to your right, and a room with a toilet to your left. The living area is furnished with a double bed, nightstands, chair, and coffee table facing an entertainment console with a flat-screen TV equipped with cable and a DVD player. The open eat-in kitchen has white cabinets, grey counters, and tiled floors. It is equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, toaster, oven, and even a practical washing machine. It has a breakfast bar with two stools, where you can sit down for simple meals. The modern bathroom has an Italian shower stall and a washbasin with a drawer cabinet below.
Situated on Rue des Potiers & Rue Dante, this vacation rental is within easy reach of public transportation. Buses that go directly to and from the airport stop right at the corner of the street and la "Promenade des Anglais". The city has a bike sharing program and car rental services, both of which you can access just down the street.
The neighborhood has plenty of conveniences such as supermarkets, bakeries, and gourmet shops. Walk a block (about 100m) to the Rue de France, where you’ll find great restaurants, cafés, and bars. Keep walking further south, about .1 mi (150 meters) to the legendary Promenade des Anglais, which runs along the beautiful Mediterranean beach. Tourists, and locals alike, love to go rollerblading, biking, and skateboarding on this boardwalk.
