Just on the other side of a remarkable stone façade near Rue Verdi and Rue Berlioz in the city of Nice, located in the South of France, sits this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom furnished apartment. You will not have to climb any stairs to get to this ground-floor rental. Neither will you have to lug clothes to a laundromat–the apartment has a washing machine and a dryer. You can enjoy the French Riviera without having to worry about this chore. The building has a security system.
Known in part for buildings from the Belle Époque, Nice has no shortage of beautiful architecture. With this apartment, the craftsmanship on the inside matches the craftsmanship on the outside. The living room was artfully conceived from floor to ceiling, with chevron-patterned hardwood and coffered-esque designs. However, aesthetics is not the only consideration in the space. Practicality is also key. A sofa folds out into a sofa double bed. There is a TV and there is air conditioning. The air conditioning extends to both bedrooms. One has a queen-size bed. The other has a double bed. The open kitchen is situated in a space of its own between the living room and one of the bathrooms. From this central location you can serve up whatever you can cook with an oven, a microwave, a coffeemaker, and a toaster using ingredients you can store in the fridge or the freezer. The kitchen has a dishwasher so that you do not have to stick around too long after the cooking is done. Both bathrooms have a shower. The one near the kitchen has a vaulted ceiling.
It is not easy to spend time in Nice without finding something that tickles your fancy. Take a 650-meter (around 0.4 mile) stroll south of this furnished rental, and you will hit the sea. From there you can amble down the length of la Promenade des Anglais by taking a right, or you can head left and visit le Jardin Albert-1er. If you head west 2.3 kilometers (around 1.4 miles), you will run into le Campus Carlone and la Faculté des Lettres, Arts, et Sciences Humaines at l’Université Côte d’Azur (the faculty of Literature, Arts, and the Humanities at Côte d’Azur University).
Jean Médecin tram station is located 850 meters (around 0.5 miles) from the apartment. There you can board the L1 tram. La Gare Nice-Ville (the Nice Ville train station) is located 600 meters (around 0.4 miles) from the apartment. There you can hop on the Intercités, TER, and TRG trains. And l’aéroport Nice Côte d’Azur (Nice Côte d’Azur Airport) is located 6.5 kilometers (around 4 miles) from the apartment.
