This two bedroom is located in the East Village between Avenue A and 1st Avenue. The apartment is on the second floor (3rd for Americans) of the walk-up building and is fully equipped.
The living room is furnished with a irregular sized double futon bed, measuring approximately 75 x 43 (slightly narrower than regular double futon beds), and matching chair, a TV with DVD player and stereo and a table with 4 chairs. The room has a window with an a/c.
Bedroom 1 faces the street and has two windows. There is a queen sized bed, a dresser and a spacious closet.
Bedroom 2 is a bit smaller and has a double bed and a smaller closet. There is one window which faces out to the back of the building.
The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator and microwave. Basic pots, pans, dishes and utensils are supplied.
The bathroom includes a tub/shower, w/c and sink with vanity.
Complimentary wireless Internet access is available.
The apartment location makes it convenient to all the East Village has to offer. To the East is Thompkins Square park and lining the Avenues are all types of restaurants. The L train is just 1.5 blocks away at 1st Avenue and 14th Street. Union Square is just a short walk across 14th Street from the apartment.
Please note that the heating system is radiator steam which can cause loud clanging when in use during the cold season.

Great location! Close to subway! Building has outside gate for security. Safe area and building access. |

Great location in the East Village. Building was pretty nice, not too much noise. Pictures were pretty accurate. Biggest complaint would be the wifi. Moved here planning to work from home and had nonstop wifi issues throughout the stay. Would contact landlord and it would eventually get fixed, but usually took a few days and the issue would later resurface. |

Thank you Kristen for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the apartment location in East Village and the building. We are sorry the wifi was unreliable at first; it was good to let us know as we were more than happy to install a new Wifi in your daughter's apartment. |

The apartment is ideal for a short stay or for several months in New York... The owner is very pleasant! The couple who takes care of the building is so nice and warm that you really get attached and they are there for all the little problems you may encounter! |
