This two-bedroom two-bathroom duplex apartment in London, UK features a fully-furnished living space in the residential and highly affluent community of Maida Vale. Located on Sutherland Avenue between Castellain and Lauderdale Road, this apartment sits on the 3rd floor (considered 4th in U.S.) of a 20th century period walk-up building. Included is a private furnished balcony with breathtaking view of surrounding landscape and a well-kempt shared terrace and garden. Provided in the apartment is a private washer and dryer. For privacy assurance, a security system is in place.

This living room is uncluttered and brightly lit with a floor-to-ceiling glass door opening up to the balcony. Various chairs and one sofa scatter the space, providing comfortable guest accommodation. A fireplace is attached to one wall, and a large mirror hangs atop it. Also included here is a coffee table, cable television, and large dining table fit for eight. On the balcony, two seats and a small table accommodate outdoor seating and meal space.

Bedroom 1 extends 12sqm/129.1sqft and includes three windows providing ventilation and natural sunlight. A king-sized bed is provided here, as well as closet space for item storage and nightstands for surface space.  An overhead lamp above the bed supplies additional illumination, and pictures placed on the walls give the room a lived-in feel. Bedroom 2 includes a twin-sized bed.

A separate, eat-in kitchen area incorporates a small dining table with two chairs placed nearest a window. Most necessary cooking appliances are supplied here, including a freezer, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and more. Two full bathrooms include a shower, tub, and fresh towels, making this two bedroom rental ideal for privacy.

Maida Vale consists of a gorgeous landscape and late Victorian and Edwardian-style mansion flats lining the streets. Comprising the northern part of Paddington near Ladbroke Grove, it provides various sights and attractions to discover. Listed below are just some examples of where to go during your stay.

My colleague and I stayed at Julia's beautiful accommodation for 9 nights while we were in London for work and it was lovely. So so so much nicer than a cold, sterile hotel! It was great to have a nice kitchen and all amenities of home to use. The rooftop garden is HEAVEN and we ate most of our dinners up there with a couple of beers in the early evening sun set. A couple of good pubs are nearby as well as a small Tesco's which was super handy. The view from the living room of the private park is magnificent also.

I loved everything about this apartment. Every stair you have to climb is worth it! The owner is delightful and can't do enough to help you.

From the sitting room there is a Juliet balcony, with a small table and two chairs ,overlooking the leafy communal gardens to which you have a key. The roof top terrace is fabulous . The balcony is a perfect spot to sit and have a cup of tea, breakfast or a glass of wine.

The gardens below are the ideal spot for relaxing with a book or having a picnic. The rooftop has superb views and is a great spot to have lunch with friends, or just relax.

This apartment is very elegant and tastefully furnished. The bed is extremely comfortable, as are the sofa and armchair in the sitting room. I also loved the neighborhood which is quiet, refined and safe ..... far away from the maddening crowds and traffic noise and yet close enough for easy access to everything London has to offer.

I would love to stay in this apartment again and can not thank Christophe enough for making it all happen so effortlessly. If you have the chance to rent this apartment GRAB IT !
