This 1-bedroom vacation rental apartment is part of a modern building with an elevator and a full-time concierge in the Canary Wharf neighborhood of the Isle of Dogs in Greater London. The apartment is serviced, and features a balcony with a view of the Millwall area of the Isle of Dogs. Laundry facilities are available within the accommodation and there is a secure entry system. A parking space is also available at an additional fee. The apartments also include convenient amenities such as complimentary high-speed internet access, an ironing board, hair dryer and welcome pack.
The living room features tall windows, giving the apartment much natural light. The open living room is furnished simply but comfortably, with a convertible sofa bed, flat screen television for entertainment and a small dining table. The kitchen has a tasteful black and white design that is echoed in the modern furnishings throughout the apartment. The bedroom contains a queen bed, with artwork adding class to the room. The neoteric bathroom features a large mirror and has a bright white design.
The apartment can be found on Lantern’s Court & Cassilis Road in the Canary Wharf neighborhood of Greater London. The building lies in the Milwall area of the Isle of Dogs: a former island and now major business district in London. Even though there are many tall office buildings in the neighborhood, such as the second-tallest skyscraper in the UK, One Canada Square, there are also many open places to relax. The nearest park, Sir John McDougal Gardens, is about 1000 feet (304 meters) away from the apartment. Here you can enjoy a nice picnic with a gorgeous view of the Thames River. Next to the park you will find the Brittania Fish Bar to have some famous fish & chips, and the Tooke Arms where you can get a cold pint. Furthermore, the Byblos Harbour restaurant is only one block away from the apartment. These are only a few of the many restaurants and pubs that are part of the Isle of Dogs. About four blocks from the apartment you will find South Quay Station, where you can take the Docklands Light Railway to commute through Eastern London. The nearest London Underground station, Canary Wharf, is less than a mile (1.6 km) away. Here you can catch the Jubilee line to the City of London, where you can explore some of London’s most famous landmarks such as the Tower of London.
