This one bedroom vacation rental is located in the up and coming neighborhood of Shoreditch. This unique apartment is situated inside of what used to be a four floor (including lower ground) framery factory in the 1920s warehouse building! The apartment features a beautiful balcony as well as an onside laundry machine.
The hip and quirky décor of this apartment is suitable for the environment in which it is located -- check out the exposed brick and the old fireplace that is used to house the TV! This one bedroom apartment features an open kitchen with two burners, a oven and an exhaust hood to keep the air clear. When you're inside, take advantage of the flat screen TV and DVD player as well, and when you want fresh air, step on your balcony! The large windows allow for natural sunlight to brighten each room, and just three steps up is the bedroom that features a double bed, complete with its own window.
Shoreditch is well known for young British artists and a hipster vibe, but also is part of the greater Hackney - East End area, full of galleries and theatres, allowing this location to have a little something for everyone who loves London! With various entertainment outlets such as museums and art galleries, there is always something to do or see in Shroeditch. If you enjoy street markets, the three most well known markets, Brick Lane Market, Spitafields Market, and the Columbian Flower Market, are all just less than one mile (1.6 km) away from this vacation rental. On a relaxing afternoon, you might want to check out Hoxton Square (just around the corner) for some leisure time, or if you enjoy dining out, you should check out some popular eateries within the neighborhood. The Book Club, on Leonard Street is a fun coffee place, but for a great Italian meal, head over to Rube on Charlotte Road, less than half a mile south of this apartment.
