Calling all trendsetters! Are you looking to experience London in style? This contemporary two bedroom apartment in Shoreditch, London has you covered!
Located on Fanshaw Street, the two bedroom apartment of about 107sqm (1100sqft) is located on the 3rd floor (considered 4th in U.S.) of an old warehouse-turned-residential building. The brick walk-up building does not hide its modernity: the exterior features bright red-painted doors and windows.
Showcasing a loft-style interior, the apartment (renovated in spring of 2014) offers white walls, light-wood floors, and high sloped ceilings with a skylight that illuminates the home with sunlight. A wall of windows in the living room aids in providing the space with light. Contemporary accessories scatter the living area: there is a blue sofa with English-flag pillows, a second sofa with bohemian-style decorative pillows, and a long bench-style dining table with twelve chairs. Amenities include a laundry washing machine, flat-screen cable television, and a full-sized murphy bed. There is an open kitchen attached to the living area, equipped with all essential cooking appliances and a dishwasher for easy meal clean-up.
Bedroom 1 spans approximately 12sqm (129sqft) and is decorated with exposed brick walls. It includes a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 provides a double bed. There is also a sleeping loft with another double bed.
Shoreditch, London is a trendy area of the city known for its independent shops and hip nightlife scene. Still retaining traces of its working-class past while offering a population growing in affluence, it is truly a unique – and authentic – area of London. We suggest visiting Hoxton Square (400m/0.2mi), shopping at Old Spitalfields Market (1.3km/0.8mi), and getting lunch at the budget-friendly Big Apple Hot Dogs (600m/0.4mi) located outside of 239 Old Street.
For public transportation around London walk to the Hoxton tube station serving the Northern line. 500m/0.3mi.

We loved the apartment / flat we rented in London! I was planning a trip for 9 adults and this was a perfect place, great sleeping arrangements for all of us. It was exactly as described; nice quiet area, near the tube, fully stocked, helpful owners, internet and more. It was so lovely to be able to have a real "home-base" as we enjoyed our favorite city. I have been to London many other times and this time my choice of renting an apartment was a new thing and I am so glad I did because it really made the trip better. We were able to shop for food to keep it there and make some meals which really cut down on our costs and the price was far cheaper than any hotel or even hostel and I was searching for weeks to compare and really glad I did my research. I was so very pleased with NYHabitat, they were always prompt and helpful. I had so many questions and they were patient and always took the time to explain and answer everything. I had a very bad experience just prior to using them with a different private vacation rental and so I was very cautious when I first found them but I am happy to recommended them to friends and family and will actually be using them again soon as I am going to plan another trip this time to NY. I had no complaints throughout the entire process.....glad I found such a wonderful company and as a huge fan of travel I know they will be a company I come back to again and again. I think personal reviews are the very helpful to other travelers so I was happy to write this one. |
