This is a model apartment. It reflects both the quality and the style of the apartments we offer at this location. The individual apartments are a variation of this one with some differences in layout and exposure.
This two bedroom vacation rental is in a modern elevator building which has a buzzer / intercom security system at the entrance and parking available (for a fee). It is situated in Bermondsey, an area on the south bank of the river Thames, which belongs to the London borough of Southwark. You will conveniently have access to Broadband internet and telephone, as well as weekly cleaning services. Additionally there is a washer and dryer in the apartment, which you will find in the kitchen.
The fully furnished two bedroom accommodation has hardwood floors and large floor-to-ceiling windows that allow the natural light to brighten the space. The living area is furnished in a contemporary style with comfortable sofas, an area rug, a coffee table, and a cable TV. The open kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and all the necessary cookery and cutlery, as well as cupboards for storage. Next to it is a dining table that seats four guests, where you can sit down to enjoy your freshly prepared meals. The bedrooms each have a double bed; the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and a storage closet in the main hallway. The guest bedroom also has a double bed, as well as an in-built closet. There is a bathroom next it that is accessed from the hallway. In most units, you will find a private balcony at the far end of the hall, which offers a lovely view of London’s SE1 district.
Located on Tower Bridge Road between Tanner Street & Abbey Street, this vacation rental puts you within easy reach of many of the city’s attractions. Visit the New Caledonian Market (0.2 miles), an open market in Bermondsey Square, where you can find antiques. Just a half-mile away, you can go and take pictures at the beautiful and iconic Tower Bridge. Another popular tourist spot is the London Dungeon (0.7 miles), which offers and interactive experience and rides, and teaches you about macabre historical events using the “gallows” humor. Just 0.3 miles away is the Fashion and Textile Museum that has ongoing temporary displays. The Bermondsey area is lovely, as it offers amazing river views, and since being converted from old warehouses and wharves, now features many upscale properties—some of the most expensive in London! Don’t miss out on the great dining opportunities close by, including the Pont de la Tour restaurant (0.5 miles) at Butler’s Wharf, which specializes in French cuisine. There are three underground stations located near the apartment: Bermondsey (0.8 miles), on the Jubilee line, Borough (1.1 miles), on the Northern Line, and London Bridge (0.8 miles), where you can catch both the Jubilee and Northern trains. You can also take the bus, as there are several bus routes nearby.
