Located just off Bermondsey Street by the south bank between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, this one bedroom furnished apartment is on the 1st floor of a warehouse style building by one of the area's leading architects.
The nicely furnished apartment with hardwood floors and exposed brick walls is approximately 55m2 with open plan kitchen, living area, separate office, bedroom, and south facing terrace.
The living area has a screen to provide separate sleeping on the double sofabed or two single folding beds. (Please specify which you prefer.)
The nearest underground station is London Bridge or Borough which are both a short walk from the apartment.
The Bermondsey Street area is one of London's hidden gems, friendly, cool and with a wealth of restaurants, art-house cinemas, fringe theatres, shops and parks, including free tennis courts. Borough Market is very close and The new Bermondsey Square has its own antiques market and farmers' markets on Friday and Saturday.
Local, friendly landlords are willing help with any specific requirements and local knowledge.

The apartment is cute and functional, clean and well kept, even quite quiet. The building is located in a pleasant and lively neighborhood, well serviced and very comfortable for visiting London. The apartment had everything needed but I found that there were not enough pots (all small) and the linen basket and clothes drying rack were missing, even though there was a washing machine. The sofa bed had broken slats in several parts. |

Additional and larger pots have now been added to the apartment. A new sofabed has been ordered which is to be delivered on Friday 25th May 2012. The security deposit has been refunded and we are sorry it was not done sooner but we were abroad and unable to set up the transfer. We apologise for the delay but we appreciate the review which helps us to provide a better apartment for future guests. |

The apartment is very pretty, well located in London and very functional. The owners are adorable and attentive. Soundproofing problem in relation to street noise, but fortunately the neighborhood is quiet. The sleeping arrangements in the study could be improved with a thicker mattress, and a curtain (or blind) at the window to avoid being woken up by daylight. |
