It was a really nice apartment. However, fire alarms always ring when using oven. |

Thanks for the review! I am sorry about the issues with the fire alarms and the boiler. The boiler repairs have already been completed and we have moved the smoke detector away from the stove. Glad to hear you liked the apartment despite these issues! |

The apartment was very small but comfortable. The location is amazing, it's really easy to get to the train and it's a nice neighborhood. |

This was the third apartment I rented in New York and it was my favorite one by far. It is well designed and maintained, and very quiet as it looks over the courtyard. Grand Central Station is a 15-minute ride away with the nearby subway. The neighborhood is ultra welcoming and lively and there is always something to do if you don't feel like going to Manhattan every night. |

Glad that our apartment is your favorite! Our neighborhood is indeed full of life. It is the unfortunate case that the design of the apartment has caused the smoke alarm to be very close to the kitchen. You are surely welcome to come back! |

Regarding the guest's comment that this building's walls allowed the guest's neighbors to be heard, we are uncertain of the cause but this building is a walk up which is estimated to have been built in 1928 and the apartment is located on the ground floor. |
