This is a model apartment. It reflects both the quality and the style of the apartments we offer at this location. The individual apartments are a variation of this one with some differences in layout, views and basic decor.
These 1 bedroom apartments are located in a 43-story post-war building with elevator, right next to Times Square in the neighborhood of Midtown West, New York. The entrance is taken care of by a 24 hour doorman and the building houses not only a gym, but also a swimming pool. You will also have the luxury of being able to take the fresh air or sunbathe when possible on the common sun deck, and the laundry facilities will certainly prove convenient. And if you don't feel like venturing outdoors, a restaurant is accessible in the building itself. There will be a full time concierge for any questions, a 24 hour attended garage for your vehicle, valet service throughout the complex and housekeeping service for an extra fee.
The modern furniture and the varied paintings hanging from the walls give you the impression that the living room is already welcoming you to make it your own home. From there, some apartments take advantage of the extraordinary position in New York with a balcony or patio offering a breathtaking view over the surroundings. Otherwise the windows in each room still allow in plenty of natural light to the apartment. The living room also has sofas surrounding a cable connected TV for leisure, and further back the open kitchen fits discreetely in this environment. It has most appliances you will need for cooking at home, such as an oven, a microwave and a dishwasher. The bedroom has a comfy double bed standing in the middle of a bright room thanks to the large windows letting in the sunlight, and easy space optimization with walk-in closets for your use.
This one bedroom's location on 48th Street (Midtown West) is obviously a great advantage in NYC, as the Times Square area begins less than a block away. From there on, shops, stores, restaurants, theaters and so much more will be everywhere you look. The hardest part will be to pick where you want spend some time, and from the multitude of activity in its vicinity we would recommend you to check out Trattoria Trecolori and its authentic Italian heritage. Otherwise a certain hit would be the good old steakhouse at Frankie & Johnie's with high-quality meat and great blend of spices. For entertainment, why not take an evening to enjoy a Broadway show or just enter one of the multitude of entertaining stores such as Toys R Us or M&M'S. And if you are lucky enough, spending New Year's Eve where millions converge to watch the famous ball drop may get you to figure on TV! Another way of spending time would be to try the Madame Tussaud's wax sculpture museum or the surprising Ripley's Believe It or Not.
The closest subway stations are merely 2 blocks away, and will give you access to no less than 6 different lines (1/C/E/N/Q/R) to go up along the west side of Manhattan towards Harlem or further downtown and towards Brooklyn.
