This studio apartment is situated in a well-preserved walk-up landmark building dating from 1880, found in NoHo, part of lower Manhattan. The building is equipped with an intercom system and is located on the 3rd floor (considered 2nd by Europeans) of the building. In the hallway outside of the apartment, a storage room is available to be rented (for an additional monthly fee).
The tastefully renovated studio consists of a main living area with an open kitchen and a separate bathroom. The living area has windows with a northwestern and eastern exposure, and a view of a classic New York tree-lined street. It also features hardwood floors, real brick walls and a white ceiling with exposed wooden beams, hallmarks of classic NYC buildings. You will find a double bed in the west corner of the living area, which faces a flat-screen TV and beautiful built-in custom wooden bookcase. The kitchen is in the center of the living area, and has a granite countertop and Viking stove, and is furnished with bar stools for meals. The bathroom has an elegant design with a built-in bathtub and a classy tile pattern on the floor.
The studio can be found on Mott Street between Bleecker Street and East Houston Street. The apartment is part of the desirable neighborhood NoHo, which is bordered by Greenwich Village/West Village to the west, East Village to the east, and Soho to the south. Together, these neighborhoods form the cultural, culinary and nightlife centers of New York City. You will experience this when you explore the area surrounding the apartment. The French/Moroccan Cafe Gitane with their delectable couscous is only two blocks away from the studio, as is the Tom & Jerry’s 288 Bar. Countless more restaurants, clubs, shops and designer boutiques can be found nearby the studio, lining Broadway and Prince Street. NYU and the famous Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village are less than half a mile (800 meters) away from the apartment. Furthermore, the nearest subway station, Broadway-Lafayette Street, can be found just four blocks from the studio. Here you can catch the B, D, F, or M trains to commute in Manhattan or to Brooklyn and Queens.

I absolutely loved the cozy, homey apartment - it was just me, so I enjoyed the intimacy of the place. It's also a wonderful location, right next to the BDFM and 6 train, with Wholefoods just a couple of blocks away. |
