With neighbors like Bryant Park and Grand Central Terminal, Murray Hill is a great part of Manhattan to settle down in. This one bedroom apartment is situated on East 37th Street and Park Avenue, convenient to Midtown with a proximity to the calming presence of the East River. The apartment is in a townhouse-type building, situated on the 3rd floor (which would be known as the 2nd floor by Europeans) and overlooking the street. This walk-up building offers a few conveniences to its residents like an intercom entry system, and laundry facilities in the basement!
Inside the apartment you will find a practical layout, with the kitchen and bathroom towards the interior and the living room and bedroom near the windows to the front. The living room has a sitting area that faces a flat screen TV and a dining area with a table and the stainless steel refrigerator -- the kitchen is right around the corner with the rest of the major appliances. The bathroom is compact with a walk-in shower. In the bedroom you will find cohesive décor with a taupe accent wall that sets off the queen size bed and desk nicely. There is a closet for storing your belongings.
When you leave the apartment, you will find yourself in Murray Hill, a more residential section of Midtown East. Here are some things to do when out and about in the neighborhood:
This apartment is also situated near one of NYC's most famous and most convenient landmarks: Grand Central Terminal! This public transit hub is gorgeous on the inside and offers trains in and out of NYC, as well as 5 subway lines (4/5/6, 7 and S trains). This is just over 1/4 of a mile from the apartment (about 450m) and can also be accessed with the buses on Madison Avenue (or Lexington Avenue when you are heading home!). Alternatively the local 6 train has a stop about 5 blocks south (approx.. 500m), facilitating your commute around the Big Apple!
