Combining the assets of a high-rise building with location, these two bedroom apartments in Manhattan's Financial District offer style and comfort for those looking to stay downtown.
Situated near the intersection of the iconic Wall Street and Front Street, these apartments are just a block from the East River, making transit by ferry convenient. They are found within a 23-story high-rise building with an elevator and a full-time doorman. There is also a gym on premises (available for an additional fee).
These converted two bedroom apartments have been renovated to a high standard, with lovely hardwood floors, modern décor and a personal washing machine and dryer. Both bedrooms feature double size beds and flat screen TVs and there is a third flat screen in the interior living room area. The livng room is furnished with a double size sofa bed, useful for guests, and a dining table. In the kitchen you will find all the standard appliances, plus a microwave and toaster. Please note that two of the walls of both bedrooms do not extend fully to the ceiling, which allows natural light to filter into the interior of the apartment, but does limit privacy somewhat.
The Financial District in New York City is more than just banks and corporate headquarters! Bordered by TriBeCa, Battery Park, SoHo and the Lower East Side, trendy restaurants and shops are just a stone's throw away! Even closer is the South Street Seaport, reachable via a pleasant stroll along the East River Bikeway (which also includes pedestrian path), a great place to enjoy the view of Brooklyn over the river and next to Abercrombie & Fitch and Pearl Diner (about .3mi/500m from the apartment). Another spot not to miss is the New Amsterdam Market, held on Sundays from spring to fall, full of local produce and products like kombucha and kimchi. You can take these ingredients home to the kitchen and whip up a meal! Convenience stores like a Duane Reade Pharmacy can be found at the foot of the building.
For commuters, there are three subway stations nearby, with a near plethora of train options!:

I have been annoyed with the noisy neighbours (blasting music, party even during the weeks). Corporate Habitat made me move to different apartments (so it's not your fault at all), however, I had noisy neighbours at all 3 apartments..... Probably many people who are not respectful to other people, are living there. |

it's dark, noisy. you can't turn off the heater if you don't want to freeze, but you have to sleep the entire night with a frightening noise. I wore earplugs at night for three months. And all this cost me 5000 dollars a month. CRAZY! |
