Do you dream of strolling through Central Park hand-in-hand with your lover? Do you wish your neighbors had names like Woody Allen, Lady Gaga, and Mariah Carey? Are you a student of Hunter College? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’ll love this two bedroom apartment in the Upper East Side, Manhattan!
Sitting on East 78th Street & York Avenue, the two bedroom apartment is located on the 3rd floor (considered 2nd in Europe) of a walk-up building. The building comes equipped with a built-in security system and an on-site laundry facility shared by all tenants.
The interior of this NYC apartment perfectly represents the aesthetic of the New York. It presents prewar-era features that are popular in many Manhattan apartments; including parquet floors, high ceilings, and exposed brick walls. Each bedroom is basic, spanning approximately 100sqft (9.2sqm). The two bedrooms are furnished with a queen sized bed. Please note that the bedrooms are small.
The rest of the apartment is equally quaint and charming, though it provides more modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. This includes a double sofa bed in the living room and a flat-screen television. The kitchen is fully-equipped with essential cooking appliances, a dining table for two, and a dishwasher for added convenience.

It overlooks Roosevelt Island, and is just 0.9mi (1.6km) from Central Park – where tenants can explore the famous greenery in the center of Manhattan, as well as surrounding attractions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art (1mi/1.7km) and The Frick Collection (1.2mi/2km).

This was a great apartment in a great (and very family-oriented) location. Unfortunately, during my stay, there was ongoing construction which was quite noisy. Other than that, no complaints! The owner was lovely and I'm happy I chose this apartment. |
