This apartment is in the perfect location - the subway is right around the corner and wonderful restaurants and stores are right outside the door. And the apartment is in a very safe location. The building is quaint and charming - it took awhile to figure out the technique to open the doors to the building and the apartment because the doors are older and there were also multiple keys. The apartment itself is tiny but it is very clean and had just been remodeled. It would be hard to accommodate more than one person as the closet is small and there is not a lot of space. I had to purchase some things for the apartment including garbage cans, hangers, a toaster, storage bins, etc. which were left for the next resident.

The apartment could be very quiet because it's in the back of the building but the upstairs neighbors made it quite noisy and sometimes intolerable. They were up at all hours and were loud most of the day including late at night when they blared their music after coming home from the bars. One other complaint was that the radiator heat never came on even after notifying the landlord on 2 different occasions to please fix it. Luckily, there was a space heater that was sufficient to heat the apartment but had the electricity gone out, it would have been an issue. However, the landlord was responsive on the few other occasions that we contacted him.

Because of the location and the cleanliness of the building, the apartment is highly recommended
