Become an East Villager when you rent this 1 bedroom furnished apartment located on the 1st floor (ground floor European) of a classic walkup townhouse building in the eclectic neighborhood of New York City’s East Village. The building is located near East 3rd Street & Avenue C and has a lovely shared back garden area.
This furnished 1 bedroom apartment has light colored flooring and white walls with Asian-inspired decor and artwork. In the living room you’ll find a futon sofa that opens to a double sofa bed for a guest with a large painting above and antique cabinets beside it. The kitchen is designed with light wood cabinetry and offers a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. A wooden dining table for two offers a spot to enjoy a home-cooked meal. Through folding doors off of the living room you find the bedroom where a queen size bed rests beneath an antique screen. A black leather love seat provides a cozy spot to sit and watch the flat screen TV that rests against an exposed brick area that likely used to be a fireplace back in the day. The bathroom is designed in white with a shower lined in marble colored tiles. You’ll have access to a tranquil shared back garden area where you can enjoy the outdoors on a lovely New York City day.
The East Village section of Downtown Manhattan is always hopping with bars, live music venues and late night restaurants. This apartment’s location also places you close to Lower East Side nightlife options as well. With so many dining and entertainment choices in the area you’ll never be at a loss for things to do or something tasty to eat. All three stops are within a mile (around 1.6 km). Stroll around and discover some of the areas secret gardens nestled between buildings. Cross Houston Street, the main thoroughfare and discover SoHo and the Lower East Side. A walk across the Brooklyn Bridge lets you traverse from Manhattan to Brooklyn with Instagram-worthy views along the way.
Subway access can be found at 1 Avenue / 14 Street: (L subway line) and 2 Avenue / Houston Street : Lower East Side: (F line). Both stations are under a mile away as well (around 1.6 km).

Great apartment, great Host. She lives nearby and gave us some excellent insider info about the neighborhood, we would definitely rent this place again. The unit is in a quiet part of the neighborhood, but it's a short walk away to the action! |
