Inside the park is a gym, a waterfront, and the Peter Pan Monument. The park also gives you access to a ferry terminal that can take you under the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge, or the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge and show you around the city. You even get to tour the Gracie Mansion Conservancy, the Mayor’s house, inside this park. There are other forms of entertainment within a 6-block radius.
Six blocks from the apartment, on 2nd Avenue and 86th Street, you can take the Q train to travel down Manhattan and as far as Brooklyn.
