This is a fully-furnished one bedroom apartment for rent in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Located on Washington Avenue and Lafayette Avenue, it is a little over one block from the subway and is found in a lovely brownstone building with an authentic Brooklyn stoop. The apartment itself is on the 5th and top floor (considered 4th in Europe) of the walk-up building. A buzzer/intercom system is in place to screen guests.
Lined with wood flooring and scattered with contemporary décor, this one bedroom home also has the luxury of a Jacuzzi-style bathtub with jets. The apartment has blue accents in the living room and bedroom furnishings, and a skylight allows light to fall directly onto the sitting area. Very friendly landlord, accommodating and willing the help. Old building, may not be eligible for renovation or alterations, which may explain, why the floors and the stairwell are quite rustic |

The smoke alarm was extremely sensitive. It would go off while we were making toast, kind of annoying. I assumed it was a relatively easy thing to fix, but it seemed like you could not just replace it with batteries. |

In regards to the smoke alarm, it is sensitive and can sometimes go off when cooking but I wanted it to be quite sensitive for my guests' safety. |
