Away from the hustle and bustle of New York City, in a peaceful, discreet, suburban-like area called Flatbush, you will find a charming pink and red brick house. This three-bedroom home is located on Farragut road at the cross of E 138th street and has two floors.
You will first enter a nice little sun room that opens on the living room where you will be able to sit on the couch and watch TV. Next to the living room is a dining area where you will be able to have big dinners with the other occupants. These three rooms have hardwood floors. The kitchen on the other hand, has a tile floor and wooden cabinets. There is also a door that will bring you to the garden. The bedroom you will be occupying is located on the second floor, next to the shared bathroom. The room is very pink but will put you in a happy mood, so you’ll be ready to face the day. The room has a queen bed, a desk and a closet. The bathroom has a bathtub that doubles as a shower. You will be also able to use the garden which is equipped with a table with a sun umbrella.
On a nice sunny Sunday, you will be able to enjoy the weather in beautiful Prospect Park (2.1mi / 3.40km). This park will make you forget you’re in one of the biggest, busiest cities in the world. You will be able to paddle on the lake, play Frisbee, or watch a small soccer game. What’s great about going to Prospect park on a Sunday is that you will be able to taste many different foods in Smorgasburg! It’s the place to go if you want to try Ramen burgers, spaghetti bagels, raclette sandwiches and drink dragon fruit juice, watermelon juice, orange juice or pineapple juice from the actual fruit! After a nice day, you could go to the Brooklyn Museum which is located at the north end of the park. If you want to try Caribbean foods you can try Picky Eaters (0.6mi / 965m), especially their Sweet Chilly Wings, Shrimp Salad or perfectly seasoned fries! A little further away, 5.5 miles away (9 km) you could have a tour of the King’s County Distillery and have a taste of the different whiskeys they brew themselves. It is located next to the infamous Brooklyn Bridge.

The appartement was excellent located for my study at Brooklyn College, just 10 min walk, as well to the subway. Great service and friendliness from the hostess as well, made you feel at home. Everything you need is present in the house. The house is located in quiet and save neighborhood. |

Wow. Thanks for the rating, I new the location was perfect to travel to the college. Yes, I am big on cleanliness and I try to maintain a fairly nice home to relax and be comfortable in with simple luxury items. My guest was amazing. He totally exceeded my expectations and would be delighted to have him again or his friends. (Lol) |
