Located between Bd. Beaumarchais and Place des Vosges,
In a few minutes walking distance to the symbol of the French Republic, the Bastille Place, the harmonious Place des Vosges, originally named the Place Royale, was built between 1605 and 1612 under Henry IV, the king. Here lived many historical personalities such as the world famous novelist, Victor Hugo, at number 6 - now a museum - Maison de Victor Hugo. Many museums, art galleries, selected restaurants, and pleasant cafes in this area provide unique entertainment moments. All other important points of interest such as the Louvre Museum, the Champs Elysées, and the Opera Garnier, are in a short distance by metro.
