The apartment was perfect for us for our one year in Paris. Our kids went to an international bilingual school, just around the corner. Loved the lively neighborhood, which is the only loud part, but we would not have preferred otherwise. If we shut the double paned windows we didn't hear anything. Wonderful boulangerie and cafe downstairs. Loved the shops on close by rue de Commerce. The apartment was large and comfortable for our family of 4, very light and airy. Larger living room/dining room area than other apartments we've seen. Lovely little balcony that can fit one small table and chair. The apartment is on one of the higher floors that catches the breezes. Building is a typical Paris apartment building, not modern, but lovely and makes you feel like you could be no where but Paris. The furniture is not fancy, but adequate. The dining room table expands from a table for 4 to a table that can fit 12, so that's a nice feature. The owners are very nice and responsive. |
