This one bedroom apartment is located near the Sacré Coeur, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, on the right bank of the River Seine. It is on the first floor (2nd floor for Americans) of a 5-story Haussmanian building from 1887 with an elevator and coded entry system for security.
The 37-m² (400 ft²) apartment has northern and western exposure, which allows in a fair amount of sunlight and provides views toward a courtyard and monument. The Anvers subways station (230 meters or 755 feet) is on line 2 and the Saint-Georges station (800 meters or less than 1/2 of a mile) is on line 12. There are plenty of nearby attractions, like the Sacré Coeur Basilica (about 1 km or .6 miles), a Roman Catholic church and popular landmark that sits atop the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the City of Light! The 9th arrondissement is site of one the city’s business centers, located near the Opéra Garnier. If you enjoy shopping, you’re in luck because Printemps and Galeries Lafayette, the country’s largest departments stores, have their flagship locations in the Grands Boulevards nearby (1.2 km or 3/4 of a mile). The famous Moulin Rouge cabaret is on Boulevard de Clichy, just a little over a kilometer from the rental. The lively neighborhood it filled with artists and has an avant-garde / bohemian feel. There is a warm and festive atmosphere and the area is culturally rich. Museums in the vicinity include Musée Chaptal, Musée Gustave Moreau, and Musée de Salvator Dalí, among others.
