Welcome to the 20th arrondissement of Paris, in Charonne! At the cross of rue des Vignoles and Rue Buzenval, you will find a charming 42sqm studio apartment on the ground floor of a five story building equipped with an elevator and secured by a concierge.
Upon entering the apartment, you will see the living area that features a double sized sofa bed, a television, and libraries with lots of books for your enjoyment. There is also a dining table next to the window to relish the natural light. The kitchen is separate; there is a window and a table for two for breakfasts and quick bites. The bathroom is spacious and has a heated towel rack, a shower, a sink and a toilet.
Located in the vibrant and lively 20th arrondissement, the apartment is near the famous Pere Lachaise cemetery where lie in peace Molière, Marcel Proust, Oscar Wilde, Gertrude Stein, Edith Piaf and Jim Morrison among many others. This arrondissement of Paris is known for its laid back and bohemian atmosphere. You will be able to enjoy and discover the contemporary art galleries and street art that fills the walls of the area. Charonne has kept its provincial village charm, it is picturesque with its low houses, bell tower Church of Saint Germain de Charonne and cobbled street. There are two lively typical open markets nearby, one on Boulevard Charonne and the other at Place de la Reunion, both opened twice weekly. There is a disused railway station named "Gare de la petite ceinture". The network was closed down however some stretches of tracks still remain to this day. The apartment is very convenient to public transportation, both Metro lines 2 and 9 as well as several bus routes.
