The apartment was really great and large enough for five people to live comfortably. Unfortunately we had some trouble with the old apartment. There was a leaky pipe before we moved in and the entire time we could not use the shower. For one month, we also could not use our bathtub because of the leak. It's very inconvenient for five people to share one bathroom and we did not get any compensation from the owner at all. It just seems that everything took an extra long time to get fixed. |

These five architecture students were coming from Rice University. The young man was staying in the recently renovated studio, which is spacious and separated from the girls' accommodation. It has a desk, some storage units, a shower room and a toilet. The four girls were staying in two very big bedrooms furnished with many cupboards. They also had a lounge dining room, a very spacious bathroom and an equipped kitchen. When they first visited the place, they were thrilled by the apartment and especially by this huge space (each room is about 30 square meters). They told me that they had never seen such an amazing apartment. We communicated regularly on WhatsApp to deal with some minor issues like piping (which happens often in old buildings). They were very understanding about that and made it easier to fix these issues. In return, we did not charge them for some repairs and plumbers interventions, etc. During their stay, the tenants could use the shower and the bathtub. We always communicated warmly and they always pay the rent on time. They have good manners, which is essential. The girls were working hard so they did not have time to take care of the apartment, which is understandable when you are studying. They respected the place and their neighbors. I think they will keep good memories of their stay in Paris. I wish them well for their studies. Marie Georges |
