Situated between Rue de Rivoli and Quai de la Mégisserie, this comfortable and luxury one bedroom is perfect for a couple.
Placed in an excellent location close to Chatelet-Les Halles, the Louvre Museum, and the Seine River, it takes a few minutes to go to the Jardin des Tuileries, one of the largest and most known parks in Paris. This live area abounds in restaurants, cafes, and diverse shops, where one finds, as well, in addition to a shopping mall, all the necessary markets (such as the famous Rue Montorgueil market) and supermarket right ourside of the building. Located on the courtyard side of a 18th century historic building, entirely renovated in 1999, where, reportedly, the Duke of Luxembourg once made his home.
This calm 32m2 is on the 4th floor with elevator. The building has two security systems and an intercom with videophone. The apartment is divided as follows: a living room with its open kitchen and a bedroom, which is separated by a sliding Japanese door. The 17m2 living room has a window giving on the calm courtyard. There is parquet floor everywhere in the apartment except in the kitchen and bathroom where you have tiled floors. The walls are all white painted, equipped with a phonic insulation and there are beams on the ceiling. The living room is tastefully decorated with a double sofa bed (140 wide), a modern coffee table with a rug, an original lamp on small coffee table. This room is equipped with a cable TV, VCR, and a phone. When you open the Japanese screen doors, you find the 8m2 bedroom furnished with a double bed. Tthe open eat-in-kitchen is fitted out with a microwave, four electric burners, and an electric oven with rotisserie facility, a coffee maker and toaster. A water boiler, lots of pots and pans and dishes and other necessary items are also available. Finally the washing machine and dryer (combo) is in the kitchen. The bathroom is equipped with a large and modern shower with hydromassage and jet d’eau, WC and a sink surmounted by a mirror.
The nearest metro stations are Châtelet (line 11) and Louvre-Rivoli (line 1). There is also RER A&B at Châtelet.

The apartment is in an excellent location, in the middle of it all, a block from a hub Metro station, Chatelet. It's facing a courtyard so very quiet however they were doing major construction on the store next door so that some noise. |

The bed seriously needs to be replaced with a more comfortable one. I had to vacate the apartment early because of back aches and pains. Also had to sleep over at a friends place half of my time in paris because of this... Really uncomfortable! |

I was surprised and disappointed to see your feedback Pieter, particularly given that during your stay you sent me several email messages saying that you found everything in the apartment in great shape, and repeatedly thanked me for renting you such a nice apartment. |

A very special apartment and a very special and caring owner. I would have loved a better blender and fewer dishes that I didn't need but I really loved the experience. The beds were especially comfortable. |

I am writing with regard to the apartment I rented in Paris on Rue des Bourdonnais in the first district. I had a lovely experience living in [this Paris] apartment. It was in great shape when I arrived and had all of the amenities I could ask for. |

The apartment I stayed in was great. It was clean and functional and the owner was very helpful. It was not however, located in a safe area. I was constantly harassed by people who were hanging around on the street outside. As a single female it was a slightly scary neighbourhood to live in. |
