Paris Accommodation - 1 Bedroom Rental in Montparnasse (PA-2817)

We sought an apartment in a residential neighborhood, as opposed to an area heavily inhabited by tourists. This one bedroom apartment in Montparnasse fit the bill perfectly. It was clean and comfortable, and close to METRO stations and buses. The apartment was quiet, bright and airy. Although we only ate breakfast in, the kitchen was fully equipped for more ambitious visitors. Numerous small restaurants dot the neighborhood. The owner was courteous and helpful. It was a most pleasurable one-week stay.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable for two people. It is nicely kept and attractive with a small but adequate kitchen. The building is an interesting, modern 'student of Corbusier' structure on a dead in street. It has trees in front and a small garden in back which provided fresh spring greenery in the city.

The bedroom is a bit small and dark but the living area is large, light filled and comfortable. The apartment is very close to the Pasteur metro stop and the bus that goes to St. Germain. There is a grocery across the street.

The neighborhood is untouristy, uncrowded, authentic working class Parisian. If you are looking for chic shops and stylish bistros they are not here but all the necessities are close by.There is a very good pizza place on the same block.

There is a school behind the apt. and sometimes during the day the playground could be quite audible but that should not be a problem in summer. The apt. was good value for the money and the owner was very sweet and helpful.

This was our second stay in this apartment. We keep the excellent impression we had for our first stay in 2009 and which is depicted in the review we wrote then.

A marvelous stay in Paris in a lovely and spacious apartment!

I enjoyed my stay in the vacation rental in Montparnasse, Paris. The landlady was very friendly. And the apartment was clean, comfortable, well-furnished and very spacious for the price.

I found the architecture of the building of interest as well. It was built around 1970 and according to the landlady designed by a student of Le Corbusier.

The apartment and building reflect a careful attention to design.

Enjoyed the apartment very much. The accommodation owner is a lovely and kind person. My only complaint is that there was no English channel on TV. We were told that there would at least be CNN news in English.

The apartment was located in a very small and quiet street in the center of Paris. There was no traffic and the entrance of the building had little trees in a small garden with bamboo plants.

The living room had big windows over the street with lots of light and from where you could look at the big trees. The apartment and all the equipment was really clean (curtains, bed covers, towels, kitchen tools and appliances... Decoration was very nice and cozy.

The owner was helpful and friendly. Overall, an excellent stay.
