This One bedroom / One bathroom house of approximately 40 sqm is located in a peaceful residential area of Saint Remy de Provence close the centre of the village (6-8 min walk)
The house is south exposed and faces the garden. It accommodates 2 people and is available for weekly rentals, throughout the year. This property is the east part of a larger villa but has its own entrance.

On entering the house is the living room. There is a sofa, a round dining table and a cupboard. It is equipped with a TV set (French Channels).
The open kitchen is equipped with a 3 burners gas stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and coffee maker.
The bathroom has a washbasin, a tub, a French bidet and a toilet.
First French floor :

The staircase gives access to the first floor where you will find the mansard-roofed bedroom with a double size bed, two small windows and a door opening onto a small balcony.
Outside :

You will enjoy the south exposed covered terrace with garden furniture and BBQ.
There is a swimming pool in the enclosed garden that is shared with the people in the adjoining house.
A garage is also available.
The house is located in a residential area of the famous village of Saint-Rémy de Provence.
The Saint Remy tourism office is nearby.
There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, particularly on the main street going all around the village. All commodities are nearby: groceries, bakeries, pharmacy, banks … everything is within walking distance. Do not miss the local market of Saint-Rémy held on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Saint-Rémy de Provence is located just by the mountain range called ‘Alpilles’. Within their surroundings, the Alpilles chain of mountains forms both a striking and a harmonious picture. It is also the landscape of famous painters such as Van Gogh, Cézanne and Matisse who came here to capture the extraordinary light and color of the region. It is also a rich agricultural area with rolling plains of fruit orchards, olives groves and all variety of Mediterranean vegetables. It is alive with the sound of chirping 'cigales' and the intoxicating aromas of multitude of wild herbs... This area is the ‘Provence of the Rhone’ and has a strong Roman heritage. The famous ruins of Glanum are nearby: an archeological site from the first century BC.
The closest highway is the A7, exit Cavaillon, 20 minutes drive away, that goes from Lyon to Marseille with connections for all major cities of the south east of France.
The closest train station is at Avignon and is served by the TGV (Train Grande Vitesse) that goes to Paris in 2 hours and 40 minutes!
The closest airport is Avignon as well with daily flights to Paris. But most international connections are made through the international airports of Marseille-Marignane or Paris-Charles de Gaulle

In a great location on the walking path between town centre and the hospital where Van Gogh committed himself. Pathway has easels with his paintings. Only 3 minute walk from bull arena. We were their during festival week and bulls ran from arena to our street daily. |
