South France Accommodation - 4 Bedroom Rental in Forcalquier, Provence (PR-971)

This private 4 bedroom villa and its garden are located in the village of Forcalquier, Luberon, Provence, in the South of France. The enclosed property has a gate with intercom, and a garden of about 900 m2.

This vacation rental, about 120 m2, can accommodate up to 8 people. It is fully furnished, with three bathrooms, modern equipped kitchen, towels and bed linen, satellite TV, Internet access, and all amenities.

The accommodation is composed of a main villa with large living, separate kitchen, veranda, terrace, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In the garden you will find an independent guest house with a double bed sleeping room, and en-suite bathroom with a washbasin, a tub and a toilet. A sheltered barbecue is also available in the garden.

The private landscaped garden is enclosed. It faces south. From the garden and from the terrace are available impressive views on the old village, the Citadel and the Luberon mountains. The access to the garden is possible only through two gates, as well as through the house via its terrace.

There is a swimming pool.

The villa is heated through a wood pellets fireplace. Solar panels provide warm water.

There is a garage and parking space (for various cars).

This vacation rental is located within less than 5 minutes walk from the center of the village.

In Forcalquier, you will discover the Cathedral, the old village, the entrance of the town and the Citadel.

All kinds of shops are available in the city. It is possible to walk to the center and to the old village very easily

Do not miss the Monday market, famous in the region, as well as the priory of Salagon (Benedictine Abbey and botanical conservatory), the Château de Sauvan and the surrounding villages (Simiane la Rotonde, Saint Etienne les Orgues..).

Many historic sites are to visit in Forcalquier, as well as in the surrounding villages. All kinds of activities and centers of interest are available in the region, including the Lure Mountain overlooking the Durance Valley to the South and the Jabron valley to the north, the famous Gorges du Verdon, The area is beloved for its hiking and biking possibilities.
