This one bedroom apartment is situated in Bloomsbury, an area in London’s West End. The West End, which is part of Central London, is very popular among tourists, as it is home to many of the city’s major attractions. The apartment is on the lower ground floor (basement level) of a 6 story exposed-brick building with an elevator and porter (who offers a weekly cleaning service). It gives on to a patio with table and chairs and large terrace above. During your stay, you’ll have access to a complimentary internet connection.
The rental has hardwood floors and white walls. The living area is furnished with a double sofa facing a coffee table and two armchairs, wall-mounted flat-screen smart TV with netflix and Amazon prime channels. Glass doors allow in the natural light and open onto a nice patio that has a small table and two chairs; it is a nice spot for alfresco dining. A large terrace with seats offers a pleasant retreat during the summer. At the other end of the living area is a white, granite-topped peninsula and stools which provide cupboard space, room for preparing food, dining and a working space for a lap-top. The matching kitchen is equipped with the main utensils and appliances, including a washing machine, separate tumble dryer, oven and hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, nightstands and a stool. It has a closet with ample storage space. This room also has sliding doors that open onto the patio and terrace. The apartment has a modern bathroom equipped with a washbasin, toilet, and walk-in bath and shower.
Located on Theobalds Road and John Street, this one bedroom rental is well served by bus routes to the West End and to the City of London. The closest subway station is Holborn (650 meters / approx. 0.4 miles), which provides access to both the Central and Piccadilly lines. If you enjoy spending time outdoors, head to one of the many parks in the area, like Bedford Square (1.4 km / 0.9 miles) and Bloomsbury Square (700 meters / 0.4 miles); both are surrounded by buildings and townhouses of the Georgian era. Brush up on your British history and visit some nearby museums such as the British Museum and the Foundling Museum. The latter is close to Lamb’s Conduit Street, a lovely thoroughfare lined with independent boutiques, restaurants, and cafés. A little further away, although still within the West End of London, you can visit notable sites such as Hyde Park, the Marble Arch, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester and Trafalgar Squares. Also in the vicinity, you can shop at some of the most famous departments stores, as well as smaller independent boutiques, situated on Oxford, Regent, Carnaby, and Bond Streets, while less than a mile to the east is the City of London, the capital's financial center.

Very well located flat in Bloomsbury/Holborn. Despite being on rather busy road, the flat is very quiet and benefits from an equally quiet terrace at the rear. The appliances and furnishing are high quality. The host was great and very helpful with any questions or whenever I needed assistance. Would definitely rent this flat again and can only recommend it. |

Fantastic apartment, clean and very good location. Quite area but at the same time "neighborhood" feeling. The person taking care of the apartment was very kind as well. |

The apartment was fabulous! The furnishings were top notch and the flat had all the amenities I needed. It felt like I was staying in a luxury building, but at a more than reasonable price. The owner and his agent were also great and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. |

The apartment is centrally located in a beautiful neighborhood. It's perfectly appointed and the contact with the landlady and the concierge was excellent. I have been staying in London for four months for professional reasons and definitively recommend this apartment. |

This apartment is ideally located in the heart of London, next to metro and bus lines, as well as shops. It features many high quality equipements. It is extremely neat, as well as tastefully furnished and decorated. The building manager is receptive and perfectly look after your safety and well-being. The owners and New York Habitat real estate agent are very kind and easily reachable in case of a problem or if you have any questions. We would recommend this apartment for those who want to spend a quality stay. |

Brilliant apartment in every way - considering its location and the quality of the building, fittings/furnishings and availability of a porter its is great value for anyone looking for a short stay in central London. I stayed in the apartment for 6 months and didn't want to leave. The owners (and their agent) are extremely friendly and easily contactable and a pleasure dealing with. If there was a stand-out reason to stay here, it would be its location - extremely central and close distance to Central and Picadilly tube lines (plus others from Farringdon station). It's also an easy walk to Kings Cross station for the Eurostar. |
