This London neighborhood is famous for its many parks, squares and, of course, for being the site of the magnificent British Museum. There are also many great restaurants, literary cafes and shops all around. For some excellent fish & chips, visit North Sea Fish restaurant, just 2 blocks away. If you’re more into tapas, try Norfolk Arms, just across the street from North Sea Fish. To check out some striking architecture, walk to the British library, just 4 blocks away from the apartment, and don’t forget the neighboring St. Pancras Station. Next to St. Pancras, about 500 meters (1,500 feet) from the apartment, you will find King’s Cross Station, which is a must-see if you’re a fan of the Harry Potter books. The closest London Underground station can also be found here: King's Cross St. Pancras station gives access to the Victoria, Piccadilly, Northern, Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan lines. Another London Underground station, Russell Square, can be found about 1/3rd of a mile (480 meters) south of the apartment and gives access to the Piccadilly line. This station is situated between two of the biggest parks in the area: Russell Square and Coram’s Fields. Furthermore, you can take the Northern and Victoria trains at the Euston station, or the Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan trains at Euston Square (both are about 800 meters / 1/2 a mile away).
