The furnished studio apartment is on the third floor of a six floor walk up building located in Chelsea, New York.
The entrance of the walk-up building is secured with a video intercom.
This furnished apartment features a large exposed brick wall, hardwood floors and A/C.
The main living area of the apartment is furnished with a double-size bed with a dining table and the sole closet. It includes a TV with cable and wireless internet.
The kitchen is open and equipped with a fridge, toaster, microwave oven, traditional oven and all necessary items to cook.
The bathroom includes a w/c, a bathtub with shower and a sink. Towels are provided.
Chelsea neighborhood counts numerous art galleries to the west as well as restaurants all around. There are movie theaters, shopping and all conveniences along Eighth Avenue and further west. To the east, both Fifth and Sixth Avenues between Fourteenth and Twenty-third Street are lively shopping areas with a variety of clothing and specialty stores.
A few minutes walk south puts you in the heart of Greenwich Village, while the same time to the north gets you to 34th Street and Madison Square Garden or Macy's. The Famous Chelsea Piers Sports Complex, one of the biggest in Manhattan, is a short walk west on the Hudson River with health and fitness facilities (pool, gym, classes, rock climbing etc.), two ice skating rinks, bowling alley, driving range and a wide variety of children's programs. The Chelsea market is also near this furnished apartment.
Transportation: Train to A, C, E, 1, 2 to 23rd Street allow you to move easily within New York.

It wasn't as clean as I would have liked - the bedding seemed old and stained, so I bought my own sheets, mattress protector, pillow and quilt. I also found that the cooking equipment in the kitchen was dirty so I had to wash everything myself before use. I also really think the apartment needs a vacuum cleaner! |

The owner very nice and helpful. The entrance and the stairs up to the flat is not up to the standards of the flat. It doesn't feel clean and needs repairs |

The stairs are carpeted and get dirty, gets cleaned and shampoo time to time it was just been done, and carpet edges secured. |

Further to this review, the owner confirmed that she has repaired the washing machine and it is working properly now. This apartment is a studio, approximately 300 square feet in dimension, with one closet in the main living area. There is one dog in the building and the owner informed us that an odor is not typically an issue. |

I actually only spent one night in the apartment due to a family emergency that cut my monthlong stay short. The owner, however, was friendly, accessible, and helpful upon my arrival and during correspondence after leaving. |
