Become part of the Midtown scene by renting this studio apartment on East 52nd Street & 2nd Avenue, just blocks from NYC icons like the Rockefeller Center and Grand Central Station! This fully furnished apartment is located on the third floor of a walk-up building (considered the 2nd by Europeans). This is an older pre-war building in New York City, and the age is evident in some of the characteristics of the floors and windows, but it is well maintained and constant improvements are being made.
The apartment's entrance is secured by a key code combination rather than a key. Upon entering you will find yourself in the kitchen area with a small dining table, which can be separated from the main living area by curtains. Basic kitchen appliances are provided, including a stovetop with oven, a small fridge with a freezer compartment and a microwave.
If you follow the hardwood floors to the windows, you will find a main room with a king size bed and a sofa facing a wall-mounted flat screen TV. The room also includes a table that can be used for dining or as a workspace. The two windows of this room have southern exposure, overlooking the street below.
Two closets, one off of the kitchen and one off of the living room, provide additional storage space in the apartment.
If you are not familiar with Manhattan, than Midtown East is a great place to start! this studio neighbors famous landmarks like the Waldorf Astoria, St Bartholomew's Church, the Seagram Building and CitiCorp Center. It also is home to many residences, therefore everyday conveniences are also not far:
Please note: The floors in some of the units in this building have a minor slant.
Please also note that the heating system is radiator steam which can cause loud clanging when in use during the cold season

I had a very good [stay] in the [Midtown East] apartment, maybe the neighborhood was a bit noisy, but it was extremely beneficial to get around town easily. I will contact the agency again soon for another trip! |
