We loved staying here. Very convenient location, with access to the express train, great restaurants, and Riverside Park. With the brick walls and the nice wood table and nice lamp and track lighting, the apartment has a warm feel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the shower pressure was great. Also, the kitchen was well stocked for a NYC apartment allowing us to cook all kinds of meals for up to 5 people. A few things could be refreshed: tub finish is chipping, bath mat and dishtowels had stains, and we brought in a few extra throw pillows and a throw blanket to make it a little cozier. Overall a great place for the price and we would definitely stay again. |

If you are looking for something more than the usual Midtown "hustle and bustle" tourist madness, this is definitely THE place to stay while in New York City. The apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood and yet is close to loads of cafes, shops and local hangouts that will give meaning to your Upper West Side experience, you'll live like a local and feel like one. |

The apt is in a fabulous location, very close to the express train down town, right by the wonderfull Hudson river park, the fab atmosphere of the upper west side, near supermarkets and all amenities. The apt has everything you need, however do not expect to see the landlord, the process is very strange also for rent payment, you have to leave it in the table in the lobby, and his assistant picks it up, the same with any other problem that you may have. |

The owner contacted us to explain that he verified that the windows in the apartment do open; there is a latch that needs to be turned before opening. Sometimes it is necessary to open the windows to counteract the heating. This will happen during the changing of the seasons, when the weather outside is warming up yet the heating is still on. |
