Review by: Amy H., Aug 27 2014 Apartment Rental: 3 months |
I was surprised to find this apartment in one of the worst neighborhoods in Brooklyn. There were frequent loud and violent fights in the neighborhood, and often loud music and police sirens. The apartment was clean but not maintained well- for instance, there was an unfinished outlet with bare wires hanging out of the wall. It was cheap for NYC, but if I had known about the neighborhood and quality of the building, I never would have chosen this apartment. The pictures shown are not pictures of the apartment I stayed in. I was duped. |

Hello Amy, I'm so sorry you were disappointed with the neighborhood. New York has many different neighborhoods that are diverse and vibrant. This neighborhood is under rapid gentrification. While things can be noisy at times, this is typical, not just for Brooklyn, but for most neighborhoods in New York. Street noise is typical to all big city neighborhoods. I'm glad you appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment. Thank you for your feedback, it will help me improve for the future. |
